We are looking for helpful reviews of good and bad hosting companies.  The reviews should be honest, helpful, and insightful.  This is a chance for you to help others in the community and win some cash to pay for hosting.

• $50 for Editors Favorite Review
• $40 for Randomly Selected Review

The "Most Helpful Review" and "Editors Favorite Review" will be determined by the Joomla Hosting Editors.  These reviews can be reviews of good or bad hosts; people want to learn about both. The editors are looking for clearly written reviews based on personal experience that will help all Joomla users.

The randomly selected review will be chosen from all of the qualifying reviews we receive from June 22 to July 31, 2009. Check the guidelines (next section) to see what a qualifying review is.

It is possible for one review to win all three prizes.
We reserve the right to update and revise the rules and guidelines.

Guidelines

150 words minimum. We are not actually going to be counting the words but a review like "They are a good hosting company" is not going to cut it.  Please take the time to be helpful and create complete thoughts.  Reviews that are generic or do not add value will be disqualified from the random review award.

Helpful to Others. Please take the time to make your review helpful to others.  Reviews are always better when the author takes the time and effort to give their honest opinion with insightful comments.  Your experiences both good and bad, can help others avoid bad hosts and find the best host for their Joomla web site.

Joomla Related. Please talk about your experiences with installing, configuring and managing your Joomla website on the host you are reviewing.  This is a Joomla related website and we are looking for Joomla related hosting reviews.

How to Enter

Just leave a review for any hosting company with whome you have hosted a Joomla site. Make sure you leave a valid email address.  Your email address will not be published or given to anyone else.  We need a way to get intouch if you are one of the winners.

The review can be done with a user account or anonymously.  If you are going to leave more than one review it may be easier to create an account at Joomla Hosting.

Why are we doing this?

First we would like to have more reviews.  JoomlaHosting.com was designed by Intown Web Design and we create lots of reviews sites.  Several of our clients are looking for ways to increase the number of reviews on their sites.  This hosting review contest is a Beta test of sorts.  We hope to see what kind of results are generated, if it works well then we will run similar contests for our clients.

We hope to make JoomlaHosting.com a great resource for the Joomla community and we want you to be a part of it.
