cPanel vs. Plesk control panels for Joomla hosting

cPanel and Plesk are to common hosting control panels that are availble from hosting companies. What are the differences and is one better for hosting Joomla sites than the other?

Which Control Panel is better for Joomla?

From our experiences is seems that cPanel servers generally have fewer problems. Of course your hosting company has a big infuence on how well the server is run and configured. With the plesk servers we seem to run into more file ownership permission errors.
